Exciting Stuff!!

As I was working with a couple of my students yesterday, one of my second graders came in unexpectedly for math. Knowing that my second grade students have been working on skip counting, I searched over the weekend for a video, not thinking it would come in handy so quickly. Even though I was hesitant, not knowing the program well and unsure how much time it would take, I decided to give it a quick try. In a very short time, she was watching the video. After repeating the video a few times including some written and oral review, she was counting by 3's to 21 before she went back to class! How exciting is that? Of course, the other two students in the room were quite interested and I assured them that today we would watch one that would pertain to them, addition with regrouping.
